Wet Wheels Adventure

Last October we had the most amazing adventure with Wet Wheels in Edinburgh. We spent an afternoon exploring the sights around the Firth of Forth. The day could not have been more perfect. It was calm, sunny and not too cold even when the boat was going super fast!

The best bit about Wet Wheels is that it’s an opportunity for anyone to drive the boat. There was space for Quinns in his wheelchair so he got positioned and took charge of steering for a while. Unsurprisingly he also tried to get his hands on the accelerator!

Big Sister and Dad also took a turn and both absolutely loved it. Quinns thought it was really fun when they spun the boat around ‘donut’ style in the water – they were fully supervised at all times.

We were joined on the way out of the dock and back in by a friendly dolphin. I couldn’t believe how close it was coming to the boat. If you watch to the end of our video from the day you’ll see just how close up we experienced it! https://youtube.com/shorts/BHnOdLLgIt8?si=qLZ_fTqH6p9GO37f
